Bob + Courtney Colorado Springs, CO Wedding Photography Part 1

Bob and Courtney mean the world to me, beside the fact that Bob is my younger brother and Courtney now my sis-in-law, and I was so excited when they asked me to be their wedding photographer!  This was my first trip flying with my daughter, Jolene, and we did it alone on Mothers Day when she was only 6 weeks old!  I’m realizing that if there is ever a time to fly solo with a newborn, it’s Mother’s Day!!  Lot’s of grace and kind words.  The trip home, on the other hand, not-so-much.

Anyway, back to Bob and Courtney.  They had their wedding at one of my new favorites in Colorado Springs, CO!  The wedding was held at Fountain Valley School at the little chapel there (although the courtyard would be fabulous for a smaller outdoor wedding!!).

Because I hate to post too many photos in one  blog post, I’ll split it up into two parts.  Here’s part one.  Some getting ready, a somewhat last minute decision about a first look, and right up until the ceremony.

Her mother wore these shoes at her wedding.  Her sister wore them also, so this was very special.  I love details like that :)

Part two coming soon.  A HUGE thank you to Rachel Havel with C’est Joli Photography in Colorado Springs for helping me out with this wedding.  Her photos were edited and posted by her so if you want to see them, click on the link and check them out!

Stay tuned for more!
